Heart Centred Organisation |
|
What does Heart Centred mean? Coming from a space of unconditional love and respect, which means being inclusive and tolerant of all diversities within mankind. Being able to see the big picture and making informed decisions from that space. When in heart space there is no excuse for lack of knowledge or experience, if you are hurt and angry, it doesn't give you the right to be cruel. Ignorance is not an excuse for behaviour, however behaviour is not the person. One thing we have learnt with time is you can love somebody, but you may not like their behaviour. In fact, this in itself, is a very liberating thing to know. Spiritual Law asks all people to commit to work through conflict to reach a mutually beneficial conclusion. As Steven R Covey author of ‘The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People’ would say, it has to be a ‘Win-Win’ situation. To break Spiritual Law tends to lead to consequences. Action leads to re-action, for example we all know the old saying ‘When you live in a glass house don't throw stones.’ Heart centred is a way of living. It means that when you are unhappy, unbalanced, angry or frustrated you work things through until you can get back to love. Acorn to Oak only asks one question ‘can we love them enough?’ The answer is always ‘YES’. At Acorn to Oak we ask all our directors, associates, partners and colleagues to attend training called ‘ Getting Back to Love’, which teaches them the qualities and values of being heart centred, prior to working for the organisation.

The Acorn to Oak Foundation was founded in 1994 by Pennie Quaile as a network of therapists to promote Complementary Therapies and learn more about the wide range of therapies in society. It grew and has changed over the years so that it now the non-profit part of the Acorn to Oak organisation. It is dedicated to increasing awareness of spiritual concepts in orthodox environments. They host different events for charity, supporting outreach projects and good causes. Action Andrea is part of the Acorn to Oak Foundation. It was inspired by a young woman who had suffered years of abuse and came to us via one of our associates. It was seen that she needed intense support and therapies to help her regain her general well-being and health. Therefore Acorn to Oak Foundation held a charity Dinner Dance to help finance her treatment. Since this time we hold an Annual event to help support financially challenged individuals who desperately need the help and support these cutting edge therapies can deliver. At present we support: London Air Ambulance (www.hems-london.org.uk) Breast Cancer Care (www.breastcancercare.org.uk) Children via World Vision (www.worldvision.org.uk) and Abaana, a charity helping children in Africa (www.abaana.org) Action Andrea Please contact our main office on 020-8641 6133 if you are able to donate to Action Andrea or contact any of the other organisations directly.
