Introduction
What are the aims of these courses?

The purpose of human relationships is for individuals to learn who they are and to develop and grow through those relationships.  Developing a healthy relationship with yourself is the beginning of building healthy relationships with others.  At Acorn to Oak we have learnt that women and men function very differently.  We therefore aim to honour and celebrate those differences, by offering a range of courses to meet the differing needs of each sex - as in our Wild Women and Warrior Within courses; as well as the opportunity for men and women to explore those differences  together, within a safe, constructive and healing setting in our Inner Balance course.  These three course offer the opportunity to learn how we relate to our own sex and build strong and healthy relationships with our fellow women or men; as well as giving us the opportunity to find out how we can relate to our opposite sex in a meaningful - and pain-free way!

For many people our primary relationship is with a sexual partner - spouse, girlfriend, boyfriend, etc.  In fact, there is pressure within society for people only to feel complete if they are "in a relationship".  There is much talk of finding our "soulmate" - the kind of holy grail of the relationship world.  These intimate relationships can offer a huge opportunity to explore who we are, to learn a great deal about ourselves and to heal the past.  However, there is an art to attracting the people who we can truly be intimate with and further how we conduct those relationships to ensure they are lasting and successful.  Our one-day workshop, Attracting Your Soulmate, explores the very nature of the "soulmate", the purpose of intimate relationships and practical steps to bringing that into your life.
