Yvonne is a lively and dynamic individual who inspires everyone she works with to grow.   

In amusing situations you can hear her laughter across any room. She has a broad and diverse humour. Yvonne worked for over 20 years as a Midwife in the NHS, culminating her career in Senior Management and Project Development. Her strong organisational skills were also used to introduce a re-organisation of the maternity service, which received the “Award for Management Innovation” from the Royal Institute for Public Administration. She has published in professional journals and presented at national conferences on her work within the Health Service. 

She left the NHS to set up her busy Homeopathic and Reiki practice. She has a been a Homeopath for 15 years and is Registered with the Society of Homeopaths (RSHom), where she facilitates Continuing Professional Development.  She is a Supervisor and Mentor for student and qualified homeopaths.   She lectures at the London School of Classical Homeopathy and she is also the Year 4 Tutor.

Yvonne joined the Acorn to Oak Network as a practitioner and continued to work with Pennie to become a Teaching Reiki Master in 2000.  She is a mentor and supervisor to people trained in Reiki with Acorn to Oak Education.  She is an SRT4Life™ Practitioner seeing individual clients. A Life Coach and co-creator of the Coach4Life™ Training.

Yvonne joined Pennie to formally launch The Acorn to Oak Group in 2002.  She is the Project Director of the Acorn to Oak Group based in Sutton, Surrey. 

She maintains a successful independent clinical practice as a Registered Homeopath, Reiki Master and Life Coach, working in South London and Woking.

Jill met Pennie and Yvonne over 15 years ago, on the first day of their Homeopathic training at the College of Homeopathy.  They were drawn together by shared qualities of humour and a way of seeing things with a broad perspective or even at odds with the mainstream! Jill brings to Acorn to Oak a wealth of life experience - she has brought up three children (now all young adults) the youngest of whom has severe learning difficulties.  Her work as a Carer led her to being recognised and acknowledged by the Prime Minister, Gordon Brown who first met Jill when he visited her home in February 2007, and then included her story in his book: Britain's Everyday Heroes,  She is now a member of the Standing Commission on Carers.

Jill is a qualified Homeopath, Reiki Master-Teacher and a Breath4Life Therapist and holds a City & Guilds 7307 in teaching Adults.  In her professional life, as well as running a small private practice, Jill works mainly in community settings.  Formerly working as part of the Complementary Therapy Team at the St Johns Hospice, supporting people living with cancer and/or  HIV/AIDS; and working with teenagers at Body & Soul an organisation supporting children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. The main focus of Jill's work now is in supporting and enabling Family Carers to lead fulfilling lives.  She was appointed Carers Training Coordinator in the London Borough of Camden in March 2008.  She also trains Social Workers in Carers Awareness & Carers Assessments.  Jill is committed to personal development, as well as continuous professional development. Peter is a Reiki Master and Spiritual Response Therapy Student Practitioner

Luke's background is in I.T. He is a talented and creative Web Developer and runs Kule Solutions which deals with this aspect of his work.His New and Exciting Project is Film Making, which he is very passionate about, whether it be web casts, shorts, documentaries or longer feature films he really enjoys the creative process of this work. He has a great interest in the energetic side of life and enjoys learning and practising energetic techniques which includes Chi-Gung, Meditation and Yoga. He learnt Reiki with Acorn to Oak and has gone on to become a teaching Reiki Master and is very talented in teaching and inspiring others. George is a huge personality of warmth, hilarity and wisdom.  A big bear of a man whose hugs are famous and well loved amongst his students.  One of the impressions he gives is of safety and security.  He is one of Acorn to Oak’s best loved associates and brings his warmth and humour to all situations. 
He is a nationally renowned Medium, Spiritual Healer and a Teaching Reiki Master who trained with Acorn to Oak. George has worked in the healing field for over a 30 years.

He set up and has successfully run the Oasis Healing Centre in Debdon, Essex for the last 5 years.  The centre is open every Satuday to provide treatemtns ina variety of therpaies for a donation. They have had some astonishing results and serve the community as a whole.
George is also a Breath₄Life^TM Practitioner and runs regular group breathwork sessions.  He brings all his knowledge, warm and experience into every session he facilitates.

Theresa Kahn is an experienced Lecturer, (Cert.Ed.) and Co-ordinator with considerable experience in Adult and Further Education. She has worked with groups and individuals from all over the world, which has included projects with the National Probation Service, numerous Local Communities and in the Health and Social Care Services; combining her skills in teaching Literacy/Skills for Life with Personal Development.  Theresa is currently working in conjunction with the National Phobic Society, providing Reiki to people with a wide range of phobias and anxiety disorders.

Theresa is a fully qualified and experienced Master -Teacher and practitioner of Usui and Karuna ® Reiki Healing, with a successful private practice in Maida Vale. She is also a qualified Spiritual Response Therapist. She conducts regular courses for people wishing to train in the various levels in both Usui and Karuna ® Reiki.

Jackie lives as works in Burton, near Bridgwater in Somerset, which is about 20 miles from Glastonbury. She is a Reiki Master and a Breath₄Life™ Practitioner.  She is also a Chartered Engineer. 

Jackie is a member of the Acorn to Oak teaching team. She is happy to give talks, or run courses, to suit the needs of businesses, groups or individuals based in the South West and she takes her International private Reiki practice to the Charante region of France. See the Diary of Events for the dates of her Reiki Share / Taster evenings, which she holds every month.

She supports the local community by working in Schools and with young Offenders, as a governor and she is a trained Appropriate Adult Volunteer.
