To ready yourself on all levels for attracting your life partner takes commitment and time. If you had a goal to move to a new city, or country, it would take you months or even years of preparation before you were actually ready to make the move. You would have to envision where you would like to work and live and what type of lifestyle you’d like to create. You’d probably like to have a good clear out of your drawers, your closets and your paperwork and any other clutter in the garage or shed to stream line your life so you could begin your new life with a clean slate. It’s the same principles when you are readying yourself to meet your soulmate. You need to clear the clutter from the past and create physical, mental, emotional and spiritual space in your life and actively plan for his or her impending arrival. Nature abhors a vacuum. This means that the faster and more completely you clear out the old the more rapidly and easily you draw in the new.

Just as the gardener prepares the soil before planting new seeds, you must weed the garden of our body, mind, heart, emotions and spirit before being ready to receive new love. Although you may insist you are ready and you’ve been ready for years (GDI, God dam it) I want to suggest that there may still be areas of your life where you are blocking, deflecting or resisting the very thing you desire most. The purpose of this blog is to help you identify those places, so you can gently but progressively clean them up in preparation for meeting your beloved.

• Is there someone I am still in love with?
• Is there someone I am still angry with, feel betrayed by or haven’t forgiven?
• Is there room in my life for another person?
• Am I physically ready?
• Creating soul space

To attract someone into your life who will love and cherish and adore you, you first have to become your own biggest fan. So, what does that mean? It means if you want to attract someone who will romance you, start romancing yourself!
