What is Reiki?

Reiki is beyond words, known through experience, not explanation. This hands-on healing process invites universal life energy channelled through the Practitioner to the recipient, and directs it to where it is needed most. This energy is available to all of us, it’s just a question of knowing how to access it! This stimulates the bodies' natural self- healing processes. The word Reiki (pronounced ray - key) is Japanese. It is the made up of two words 'Rei' which means universal, in the sense of everywhere; and also 'Ki' which means the vital life force within every living thing, like the Indian 'prana' or the Chinese 'chi'. So how do we do Reiki?

We teach Reiki in the traditional 3 levels. Pennie Quaile-Pearce is a member of the CThA Complementary Therapists Association one of the Reiki Master/Teachers on their register and is the CThA link co-ordinator for Surrey.

To help you understand energy we use a lot of different techniques which allows you to experience it for yourself and feel the energy changes that occur when Reiki is channelled and directed to you and others. These amazing techniques helps you understand the difference between energy vibrations.

Reiki One - 2 Days of training

All about you learning how to channel Reiki and use it for yourself, friends and family.This course is accredited with the CThA and has been awarded 10 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) To read more click here

Reiki One - Conversion Day

For those who want to learn the Energetic Models of Health, dis-ease and cure, who didn't receive 4 personalised Reiki One attunements or feel there was something missing from their training. Reiki Two - 5 Days of Training

1st, weekend (2 days) is all about deepening your knowledge and experience of Reiki, learning the Reiki symbols. This course is accredited with the CThA and has been awarded 10 CPD (Continuing professional development) To read more click here

Reiki Three - 11 Days of Training

At Acorn to Oak we take training someone to become a Reiki Master very seriously indeed…in some ways it’s like re-birthing a person into a new world; the world of energetics! With new laws, new frames of reference it demands us to step up to the plate, clear outmoded beliefs, values, assumptions and ways of being. Becoming a Reiki Master will open your life to all sorts of possibilities. It does take commitment, strength, loyalty and a deep, deep yearning to free yourself, however, it prepares you for magnificence and a deep connection to humanity and the universe as a whole.

Reiki Three Pathway
