Looking Good & Feeling Great for special needs adults
The Looking Good & Feeling Great programme aims to improve health and well-being, increase self confidence and social skills, reduce social isolation of marginalised people. It is been designed for people from vulnerable groups (learning disabilities and mental health) helping them be less isolated, so they will feel more included.
Using art, movement, creative visualisations, music , laughter yoga and more, candidates will improve self confidence, learn better life skills, understand how they can help themselves to have improved health and well-being. Everyone will be encouraged to find their authentic voice and tell their own story.
The project has been designed so that it can leave a legacy with the communities that become involved, if it is not possible to continue to fund it longer term.
Group runs every Friday from 11am to 1pm in Jacobs Well.
